Location and Accessibility

Dehradun sits in the Doon Valley at the foothills of the Himalayas. Mussoorie is approximately 35 kilometres uphill, while Rishikesh is about 45 kilometres away. Narendra Nagar, where Pushp and Rajasi Villas are located, overlooks the Rishikesh Valley from a peaceful forested ridge.

By Air

Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun, is the primary airport for the circuit. Direct services connect Dehradun with major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Kolkata, although routes and frequencies can change seasonally. Private airport transfers can be arranged on request at several Wanderlust homes.

By Train

Dehradun, Harrawala, Rishikesh and Yog Nagari Rishikesh are the principal railheads. The Delhi–Dehradun Vande Bharat Express completes the journey in approximately four and a half hours, making rail an attractive option for a short Uttarakhand escape. Shatabdi, Jan Shatabdi and overnight services provide additional connectivity.

By Road

Dehradun is well connected to Delhi and the northern plains by highway. Uttarakhand Transport Corporation operates comfortable Volvo services between Delhi’s Kashmiri Gate ISBT and Dehradun, including daytime and overnight departures.
